*This guide is only to be used when Hyflex functionality is required.
Startup:
1. On the Extron touchpanel, tap anywhere to turn on the AV system
2. Choose input source or leave it on PC
3. Tap "Press to Combine"
4. Once rooms are combined, tap "Hyflex"
5. Join meeting from the Hyflex touchpanel
Powering Off:
1. End meeting from Hyflex touchpanel
2. Tap "System Power Off" from Extron touchpanel
*The following sections are not required for basic Hyflex functionality. To adjust the camera, audio, or display settings see below.
Camera Settings:
Camera controls appear on the Extron touchpanel after selecting Hyflex mode. The default setting is a closeup podium view.
You can do one of the following to adjust the camera view:
- Choose one of the three camera presets
- Preset 1: Podium view
- Preset 2: Front of room view
- Preset 3: Wide room view
- Turn on Auto Tracking
- Auto-tracks a presenter/teacher throughout the front half of the room (disables all manual camera controls and presets)
- Manually adjust the camera to fit using the arrow buttons
Audio Settings:
Audio levels can be adjusted from the Extron touchpanel when in Hyflex mode.
To mute or adjust the room speaker volume, use the "Room Volume" controls on the right side of the Extron touchpanel.
To mute or adjust the room microphone volume, use the mic controls in the bottom-right corner of the Extron touchpanel, under the Room Volume controls.
Room Display Settings:
When in a meeting, what is shown on the Hyflex room displays can be changed from the Hyflex touchpanel.
To swap between gallery/content modes, click the icon in the bottom left corner of the Hyflex touchpanel (must be in a meeting).
- Gallery: Choose "Content + People" or "People Only"
- Focus on content: Maximizes content and hides people
You can also show or hide the meeting chat on the displays by tapping the chat icon on the bottom of the touchpanel.
