Troubleshooting

There are times when Office will take a while to respond, boot up, load files, etc. One of the easiest ways to fix this is to restart the computer.
If that does not work, then you can try updating the app. All Office apps can be updated by going to file > account > Microsoft 365 and Office Updates
If you run in to severe issues, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Office suite. To do this, go to control panel > Uninstall a program. Select the program, and then click uninstall. To reinstall, go to office.com, have the user login with their Cecil email address, and install the suite. This may take a while.

Accessing Files

If a user manages to lock themselves out of their own file (excel, word, etc.), one way to resolve the issue is to go to the file online, click share.  download it (using the owners account) and check out, then back in.
