Starting Spring 2026, currently registered credit students will be issued a digital ID card!
The ID123 app is easy to install and you’ll be able to take your own photo for the ID. You can take a photo using your mobile device’s camera; or you can upload a photo. Note, the photograph that you choose for your digital ID must be an accurate representation of your regular appearance, and it must not utilize filters.
Rules for your photo:
- Clear, forward-facing color photo
- Taken from the shoulders up
- Head and neck centered in the frame
- Solid, light-colored background
- No sunglasses or hats
- File submitted in .jpg format
How can you get your digital id?
You were sent an email invitation to your Cecil College email address from ID123 (invite@id123.io) within 24-48 hours of registering for a qualifying course
An invitation by email is the only way that you can install the ID123 app. Students who are unable to locate the invitation or require technical assistance installing the ID123app should contact the IT Service Desk.
The invitation email will include the Cecil College and ID123 logo as seen here:
A smart phone is required for the digital ID. Students who do not possess a smart phone, should visit Records and Registration during business hours.
Students who need a physical ID for offsite purposes (ex. clinical, etc.) will need to obtain their physical ID from Records and Registration.
