Huion is the brand of drawing tablet the Cecil College typically employs. The model we are using currently is Kanvas. For a computer to use one of these tablets it needs a driver which can be found at the Huion website: https://www.huion.com/download/
You will need to know the type of tablet you are working with to get the right driver. The type will be listed on the box. At the website, choose pen display if you are working with a Huion that has a screen, or pen tablet if there is no digital screen, and then select the model. You can then download the newest driver for the correct OS. After that you can connect the tablet by plugging the USB-C side of the cable in to the tablet (center most one if there are two), and the HDMI (or other display cable) and the black USB into the computer. There may be a red USB which is for an external power source but that is not needed as the tablet will power itself off the computer.
