Malwarebytes

Malwarebytes is a preinstalled virus scan. If there is any concern that a computer may have a virus, run malwarebytes. Malwarebytes may also send a notification saying a virus was found. Make sure the notification is actually from malwarebytes or another trusted source and not from a virus itself.

How to run malwarebytes

An easy way to run Malwarebytes is through the hidden icons menu in the task bar. Click on the hidden menu in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.

Then, right click on the Malwarebytes symbol.

You should get a pop-up that says “Start Threat Scan”. Click that to begin the scan.
