Quick guide regarding signing into Virtual Machines for Employees working from home.

Hello Everyone!

This is a quick guide about accessing Cecil College's new Windows 11 VM's for work from home scenarios. Currently, employees can use Cecil's VPN or W10 VMs to access Jenzabar and shared drives. Windows 10 is no longer supported by Microsoft, and our VMs have been transitioned into W11. All J1 apps and needed resources are already installed onto the VM desktops. If any resources are missing, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Service Desk. Please note, multiple users accessing the VMs at the same time may cause a temporary performance downgrade until Azure automatically turns on another VM.

To access the new VMs, please navigate to this website: https://client.wvd.microsoft.com/arm/webclient/index.html

From there, the new VMs are under Cecil Staff VM and are labeled Cecil Staff VM.

After clicking on SessionDesktop,  please mimic the settings below for ease of use:

Clipboard: Allow
Printer: Allow
File Transfer: Allow
Don't ask me again for connections to this computer: Allow
After checking all the above, click allow!
 

From there enter your username with "NT35\" or "nt35\" before your username. For example, nt35\gibson.
